Brad and I, along with the CureSHANK co-founders, want effective treatments that can make a meaningful difference to our children.  After carefully evaluating the barriers to drug development, we selected projects with the greatest potential to transform the landscape of drug development in Phelan-McDermid syndrome.  We now have several companies developing small molecules and gene-based therapies.  There is much work that remains, but I’m proud of the progress we have been making in achieving our milestones.
